Mounted uniformed police in Mercer Street, Wellington, during the New Zealand Waterfront Strike of 1913. Flanking them are small crowds, and behind them can be seen a band rotunda, the buildings of the Star Boating Club and the nothern end of the Odlin's Building, all in Jervois Quay.
