Sailing ship "Zuleika" towing to Dunedin. Zuleika is being towed by a tugboat, and alondside her, in the foreground, a dredge is helping. Photograph taken by David Alexander De Maus, early 1897.
According to the Alexander Turnbull Library Shipping Index, a ship named the Zulieka was wrecked in 1897 at Cape Palliser, hence the dating of this photograph

Iron sailing ship of 1144 tons built in Glasgow in 1875 by Messrs Aitken & Mansel. She was chartered in America to load cargo for New Zealand, half of which was discharged at Dunedin, and the vessel was bound for Wellington to discharge the remainder when wrecked in Palliser Bay on 16 April 1897.
