Scenes at dispensaries in Cairo, Egypt, during World War I, taken while Dr Agnes Bennett was employed by the New Zealand Medical Corps. Photographs taken in 1915 by an unidentified photographer.
Upper left: Shows a dispensary worker (named Temurgeh?) and a woman holding a child (the patient?).
Upper right: shows a nursing sister and a dispensary worker (called Temurgeh?) working in the dispensary.
Centre: Shows female Armenian patients.
Lower: Shows Egyptian midwifery nurses, a group of women, with items balanced on their heads.
Inscriptions: Mount recto - top right - Dispensaries
