Description

An unidentified couple outside their bungalow, probably in the Canterbury region. Photograph taken by George Weigel on 5 June 1952.

"The shingled wall above the porch and mullioned windows, together with the surrounding trees, gives this house a rustic look that was particularly popular in New Zealand." (Information from caption used in "Darling, I'm home!" display).
