Photograph of a watercolour showing buildings at Papawai in the early 1860s. In the foreground is the pasonage. Behind it is the St Thomas' College building. To the right of the college building is the boys kitchen. Artist unidentified.
The college opened in 1860, and closed some time in the mid 1860s as a consequence of the land wars.
