A publican and a priest, both showing signs of a fight, kneal in supplication at the feet of a soldier.
Extended Title - Soldiers hold the situation - saints and sinners in suspense. New Zealand's soldiers have the honour of deciding the liquor issue. How the boys who fought for freedom will decide, is not in doubt, but still, until the soldiers' verdict is known, the suspense is kind of awful.
