The cartoon shows an enormous demolition ball swinging back against the cabin of the crane it is attached to and smashing it. The crane represents 'Alliance demolition'. Probably refers to the collapse of the Air New Zealand Ansett alliance after Air New Zealand was rescued by the government and Ansett was made bankrupt.
