- Description
Shows men on the ice unloading gear alongside two steam and sail vessels. The nearer vessel bears a large 2 on its hull. Possibly an illustration to the voyage of the Erebus and Terror (1839-1843) and may show the vessels in the Arctic, rather than the Antarctic.
