Photographs taken by the Northwood Brothers circa 1900s to 1910s.
Most of the images are views of the coastline in Houhora Harbour, Mangonui and harbour, Spirits Bay (including a waterfall) and Cape Reinga. Places identified from comparison with other photographs by the Northwood Brothers.
Several scenes show yachts, one of which shows a group of men, women and children (Maori and Pakeha) some standing in a boat and others standing alongside.
