Dominion Museum, Wellington New Zealand. C Tuarau and H Allen refurbishing a Maori waka (canoe). Photographed by an Evening Post staff photographer on the 25th of July 1960.
The canoe was being prepared for a Sydney television filming of the arrival at Wellington Airport, of the first Teal Electra from Sydney.
