Description

Looking south east on Courtenay Place, Wellington, toward Kent and Cambridge Terraces. Shows cabbage trees and people waiting for trams on the left. In the middle ground, centre left, on Kent Terrace, is a group of 4 businesses including the Cafe Royal with a sign advertising `Oysters'. Houses and other businesses are alongside the Cafe. Photograph taken by Charles Sydney Smith between 1911-1912.
