A motor car with packages roped on to the outside. A dog sits in a box attached to the left running board. The occupants of the car were off on holiday. Taken by George Weigel 29 December 1947.
Inscriptions: Verso - Everything but the kitchen sink. Off for a quiet holiday after a years work. Even the dog goes too. Value per gallon. (Taken from caption on back of file print. The print was used in the Weekly News))
