Wellington College building, circa 1890s. Photograph taken by the Tyree Studio.
Note on back of file print reads: "Tyree coll no 5477"
Main block, spire, and western wing built in 1874. Eastern wing (On left looking at photograph) built in 1883 by builders Thomson and McLean. The architect was Christian Julian Toxwood. The spire was removed in 1909. The building was demolished in 1931.
