- Description
The first cartoon, top left hand corner, shows a man picking another man's pocket. This is followed by a minister of religion carrying a protest placard about the proposed exclusion of Maori from the All Black team going to South Africa, while another man reels back in horror at a bar, when he sees that beer prices have gone up. The British Rugby team, the Lions, looking very confident, feature in the central image. In the lowest images, hopes are expressed for a better budget from Minister of Finance, Nordmeyer.
