Description

Album containing 45 photographs taken between ca 1900-1930 by various photographers, showing houses, churches and other buildings in Dunedin, probably designed by architect James Louis Salmond.

Some houses are identified by owners: A C Hanlon on Pitt St, Arthur Sidey, J L Salmond on Bellevue St, Holdsworth (family?) at Waikouaiti, Charles Begg on Smith St, Dr Batchelor on London St, Charles Speight on York Place, Douglas (family?) on Eglington Rd, Salmond (family?) on Albert St, Jones (family?) at Warrington. Also includes terrace houses beside tramsheds and on Stuart St

Also includes: Chalet Hospital on High St, Roslyn Church, Working Mens' Home on Roseberry St, Waitahuna Church, Kaikorai Church, Burns Hall
