Group portrait of 8 men, ex-pupils of the Marist Brothers School, Boulcott Street, Wellington. The negative register described them as the "old guard" so they may have been amongst those boys at the school when it opened in 1876. Photographer unknown.
The school closed in 1911 when it was replaced by a school in Tasman Street, Newtown.
