A toast list. Those toasted included the Royal Family, the Governor, the Army, Navy & Volunteers, The Ministry, The Parliament of New Zealand, Sir Julius Vogel, the Mayor of Christchurch, visitors, the ladies.
Surrounded by an elaborate border possibly inspired by Maori or Polynesian design.
