Description

Two storied house and Reo buggy alongside. Couple outside the house are unidentified. Photograph taken by Frederick Nelson Jones ca 1905.

"This two-storied square bay villa with its rusticated weatherboard and decorated wooden verandahs and gables is still being landscaped. The garage on the left of the house separates this imposing new structure from its simpler neighbour." (Information from caption used in "Darling, I'm home!" display).

Exhibited in 'Darling, I'm Home!' exhibition at the National Library of New Zealand, 1 June - 5 July 1999.
