Shows Don Brash as a fish washed up on the beach. The sun, 'the hustings', is beating down fiercely on him. Refers to his speech to the Orewa Rotary Club in January 2004 in which he identified racial separatism, the Treaty of Waitangi and race relations as nationhood issues which urgently needed to be addressed.
