Description

A Maori man in a blanket keeping watch over Ohaeawai Pa from behind a dead tree on a hill, with three other Maori seated beside him. The pa is in the middle distance, surrounded by a palisade and there is part of a farm with cleared bush and a small shed and fences closer to the watching group.
