All but one of the photographs in this collection date from 1946 to about 1949. There are a number of group photographs of teenagers. These may be Hataitai Methodist Church bible class groups. There are views of Hataitai township, the local dairy, and the school Jubilee held in 1946 and 1971. Wellington City is represented with views of the harbour, the waterfront, Evans Bay, Karaka Bay, and the patent slip
