"Ventura bona docentis seraphici doctoris Bonauentura sacrosancte Romane ecclesie Cardinalis dignissimi de temp[or]e simul et sanctis cum co[m]mune sancto[rum] perfructuosu[m] opus. Impressum per Iohannem Zainer : feliciter explicit Anno domini Millesimoquadringentesimoctuagesimoprimo"--Colophon, leaf [148r]

The attribution to Bonaventure is considered spurious. Cf. GW. Goff also notes a spurious attribution to Hugh of Saint-Cher. Distelbrink attributes 114 of the 129 Sermones de tempore to Servasanctus de Faenza and notes the others are possibly by him, although a few resemble Bonaventure's work. The Sermones de sanctus he attributed to Servasanctus. Cf. B. Distelbrink. Bonaventurae scripta, 1975, p. 187 (no. 209), p. 184-185 (no. 205).

Place of publication supplied from Goff.
