Binding: 1/2 imitation black morocco, brown sand grain cloth boards, central plaque on upper cover with gilt plant (lotus) design within geometric border and title "Grammar of ornament." Spine tooled in gilt with raised bands and lotus design, marbled (combed) endpapers, gilt text edges. Plates protected with interleaved blank sheets.
