Binding: publisher's blue cloth binding. Provenance: both vols annotated throughout by E.A. Wilson; front free endpaper of vol. 2 signed in pencil "Edward A. Wilson 1908"; vol. 1 has glassine pocket at back containing a telegram from Scott to Wilson dated 19 Nov. 1909 "Delighted if you can meet me here six tonight and dine dont dress" annotated by Wilson with his reply "have answered delighted to come six tonight and dine. Wilson"; also included is a newspaper cutting from the Morning Post dated 4 November with review of "Heart of the Antarctic", and an ms note by a later researcher on Wilson's annotations; presented to the ATL by Miss Rosalind Atkinson 6.2.52. Transferred from the N.Z. & Pacific Collection, 2013. Acc. 116647-116648.
