Binding: green crushed morocco, gold tooled on upper and lower covers with ornate border surrounding central panel of geometric design in double and single fillets, gold tooled edges and turn-ins; spine with raised bands gold tooled in decorated compartments; gilt text edges; marbled endpapers. Binder's stamp in gold on front turn-in: "Bound by Zaehnsdorf, 1915"; and binder's device in gold on back pastedown. Spine title: Hadassa. Francis Quarles. Provenance: bookplate of Alex H. Turnbull. Acc. 363525.
