The Alexander Turnbull Library Rare Book copy. Copy 1. Binding: blue cloth boards, blocked in gold on upper and lower covers with rectangular mesh patterns and floral overlays, spine gold tooled with blocks of same design; light blue endpapers printed in blue decoration based on cover design, fore and bottom edges untrimmed. Designed by Rossetti. Provenance: bookplate of Sir Joseph Kinsey, donated to the Alexander Turnbull Library, 1936. Acc. 70448.

The Alexander Turnbull Library Rare Book copy. Copy 2. Binding: beige silk cloth embroidered with mesh of gold thread, oversewn with flowers and leaves in imitation of the design of endpapers in the standard copy; spine title embroidered vertically in pink and cream thread; pink and gold silk brocade endpapers with repeating floral design; top edge gilt, untrimmed fore and bottom edges. Spine title: Rossetti's poems. Provenance: accompanied by letter to Rossetti from F.S. Ellis (publisher), dated May 28th, 1893; and letter dated 16.3.15 from the publisher's son Herbert Ellis; inscription on flyleaf: 'Bound by Miss E. Burden'. Deluxe ed. on watermarked paper. Acc. 342697.
