Alexander Turnbull Library has fragment only, first 4 leaves. Binding: contemporary binding in brown morocco over 5mm beech boards with inside bevels; brass clasps with remains of straps on upper cover; evidence of knife cornering on turn-ins; paper pastedowns (now free) with 'mountain' watermark (Briquet 11755). Text block sewn on three split alum-tawed thongs laced into the boards showing on the spine as raised bands; blind tooled spine compartments. The upper and lower boards are tooled in blind to a panel design with four-line fillets with a wider single decorative roll towards the outer edges; central panel has built-up corners and central lozenge filled with single quatrefoil and circle tools. Rebacked. Provenance: inscription in 15th century hand on recto of front free pastedown: 1492 adi 24 noenber Ifte liber eft mei prefbiteri Ludouicij filliuf ydā Magifti (?) menegini furoris. Entries from auction catalogues pasted inside front cover. Water stained, slightly soiled and foxed pages; worm holes in boards and front leaves in lower margins. Acc. R1007.
