Reports on the ownership battle over Christchurch Casino Ltd between 41%-owner Skyline Enterprises and its chairman Barry Thomas, against invader Sky City, both angling for the additional 41% stake for sale by other shareholder, London-based Aspinall. Talks to Aspinall representative and casino chief executive Arthur Pitcher, who was fired by Thomas but later reinstated, about managing the facility. Chats with Problem Gambling Foundation counsellor Simon Tam about gambling addiction, particularly among Chinese immigrants. The former waitress in the casino's Grand Cafe recalls her experience there.
