Binding: red crushed morocco, upper and lower covers tooled in gold with single outer fillet, inner ribbon panel design, pointille ́ tools, and central armorial device of Alexander H. Turbull, spine gold tooled with decorated compartments, gold tooled edges and decorated turn-ins, marbled (combed) endpapers, gilt text edges overlaying original red sprinkled edges. The turn-in of the upper cover is signed "Bound by Zaehnsdorf 1914," binder's gilt stamp on lower pastedown. Acc. 352162.
