Binding: blue crushed morocco; upper and lower covers tooled in gold with red and green onlays to a tudor rose and leaf design with central lozenge; leather doublures tooled in gold to panel design in eastern style with red and blue onlays for peacock feathers; central panel and flyleaf of cream moiré silk; gold tooled edges; spine with raised bands, gold tooled in decorated compartments; top text edges gilt, bottom edges untrimmed. Binder's stamp in gold bottom front doublure: Bound by Ramage, London. Spine title: Fly leaves by C.S.C. Acc. 352247.
