The Alexander Turnbull Library SPC copy. Binding: straight grained blue morocco, gold tooled decorated rolled double border, with decorated corners built up of gold fleuron tools, spine gold tooled with decorated compartments, gold tooled edges and turn-ins, marbled endpapers, red and white ribbon bookmark. Endpapers watermarked with coat of arms and initials "F.P." Spine title: Cristian Solitar Editio princep. S.L. et a. Possibly bound by Simier (cf. Huth).

The Alexander Turnbull Library SPC copy. Provenance: book label on upper pastedown: Bibliothèque de M.A.R. Courbonne, Fallitur hora legendo; book label of Nicolas Yemeniz (numeral 2678 entered in pencil between representation of two sides of coin (LVGDVN) ) pasted to verso of free endpaper in front (sold at Yemeniz sale 20 May 1867, lot 2678) ; bookplate: Ex musæo Huthii (sold at auction 12 June, 1913, lot 3781, purchased by Baer); ms bibliographical notes in French, and "no. 730" in red ink on verso of flyleaf facing leaf [1]. Two illuminated initials in gold and colours, extending into inner margin, on 1ar. Initials throughout text supplied in red or blue, paragraph marks, underlines, and initial strokes in red. A few ms marginalia, marks and underlines ; some ms quiring visible at head of margin in third and fifth gatherings ; foliated 1-46 in pencil at foot of inner margin and also (partly erased) at head of outer margin. A few stains, some foxing, traces of page-turner on 1av. The Alexander Turnbull Library copy has unsigned gatherings, lacks leaves [47-48]. Acc. R1015.
