Description: Map of Otaki, with revisions made in white correcting fluid. The area is from the sea to the racecourse including the Otaki River and the golf links, Otaki Beach, Rangiuru and Otaki Town settlements. Shows the sites of the King George V Memorial Health Camp, several areas of Church Mission Grant land, the Catholic Church Mission Station, Maori Church, pa, memorial to Te Rauparaha, schools, the hospital and sanitorium reserves and a mill. Includes dates when the Catholic Mission Station was opened and dates when the church, presbytery and school were built. Streets and streams are named and the old course of the Otaki River is marked as is the borough boundary and built up areas. A reference key shows numbered sites of interest.
