Description: View from across the Waikato River towards the main buildings of the Maori king's residence. The long low building on the left is the 'General's quarters', the 'King's palace' is in the centre with dark red barge boards, the 'council chambers' are futher to the right and the closest building and the flagstaff is on the far right. There are two small canoes at the landing place, along with people and horses.
