Description: A single-storied house with verandah and verandah posts across its front, set at the base of bush-clad hills on rising land. There is another structure, either a shed or dog-kennel at a lower point to the left For attribution and provenance see A-048-027. The house, called Glencarrig by Aylmer, still stands in Percy Street, Akaroa.
