Description: Album of stereoscopes, probably chiefly taken by L A Cotton, en route to Antarctica on the Nimrod with Shackleton's British Antarctic Expedition, with a number showing the arrival and unloading of stores, equipment and ponies. The first views show HMS Powerful "dressed in honour of departure of "Nimrod". Jan. 1st 1908". These are followed by views of the ship Koonya towing Nimrod in heavy seas.
