Description: View of the outflow of Lake Waikaremoana, 1910. A bridge crosses rapids flowing into the Waikaretaheke River. Photograph probably taken by John William McDougall (editor of the Daily Telegraph in Napier between 1905 and 1914.) Other - Photographer identified from Wise's Post Office Directory between 1905 and 1914, the only McDougall living anywhere near Lake Waikaremoana. A researcher has found a photograph by 'HH McDougall' who also lived in Napier at this time, so may possibly be the photographer. He was the son of John William McDougall.
