Description: Shows a queue lined up to enter the Katzenjammer amusement castle, or side show. Inscriptions: Verso - centre - [Letter from Rene, to May Bowater: Dear May, This is where we are going tonight. We went to the Ex this morning and it is lovely. We are having a glorious time and the weather is just perfect. Hope you like this P.C. If you were in the castle you would laugh. Love from Rene. Description: Postcard shows a general view of the bowling green and clubhouse at the Remuera Bowling Club, with its "RBC" flag flying from a pole on the roof. The card was sent to Miss M Stephens, care of C M Banks on Thorndon Quay, [Wellington] City. The writer, Jack, was one of a team which had lost a championship to Johnsonville 4-2 the previous Saturday. Because of the address ("City"), it appears he was writing from Wellington.
