Includes interior views of military aircraft and airmen on leave at Lake Onatario and at the top of the Rockefeller Centre in New York City. Description: Diaries and account books of Francis Hall Tipping and his wife Anna Louisa McClintock, 1832-1884. The diaries of Francis Tipping run from 1843 to 1870 and comprise brief entries, along with some family memoranda; those of Anna Louisa, which run from 1832 to 1837 and from 1872-1876, contain more detail. Photocopies of letters from Francis Hall Tipping, held by Public Record Office of Northern Ireland; some with transcriptions by Paul Tipping. Ten letters written in Ireland, two letters written in New Zealand. Also one letter from Sarah Willock, 1891. Includes a description of the Tipping Papers held by Public Record Office of Northern Ireland (D/4160) The account books, which were kept by Francis and Anna seperately, mainly cover household and living expenses from 1832 to 1878. One volume also gardening notes.
