Description: Shows native bird, the kea, with wings raised to show red feathers, perched on a branch in an alpine setting. Date previously thought to be 1930s. Date verified by photograph of Eric de Lacey and Gerald Phillips at the National Publicity Studios in 1957. The studios hung recently completed posters on their walls. Archives New Zealand reference AAQT 6401/26 A51164.
