Description: View of an unadorned Maori meeting house in an unidentified locality, very likely in the North Island and possibly on the East Coast. The land behind the meeting house is hilly. The name of the meeting house is over the doorway however it is unable to be read. Sitting in front of the meeting house are two men (possibly brothers) with three small children and a dog. Photograph taken by William A Price in early 1900s. Source of descriptive information - Price's negative 132E is a view of Tokomaru Bay. The meeting house may be located on the East Coast. Inscriptions: Photographer's title on negative - bottom left - 131 William Archer Price lived and practised in Queen Street, Northcote, 1909-1910.
