Richmond Cottage was constructed from stone in 1854 and located at St Aubyn Street, New Plymouth, for Christopher William and Emily Elizabeth Atkinson. Occupied by the Richmond family for many years. Became an accommodation place in the 1880s. Moved in the early 1960s to Pukeariki Landing, Ariki Street. Administered by Puke Ariki/ New Plymouth Museum.
