They are standing or kneeling with their swords and their insignia can be seen on their arms. Portrait of the 1st New Zealand Contingent, taken November 1899 by Feeney Photo. Two men in naval uniform and one possibly in a mounted rifles uniform outside a tent ca 1890s. The names given are Campbell and Bell (naval) and Moorhouse.
