Description: A large haka party crouching down waiting to perform the haka on the occasion of the visit of the Duke & Duchess of York & Cornwall to Rotorua in 1901. Standing in front of the haka party is a woman holding a taiaha. She is wearing a dark-coloured long sleeved blouse, and a piupiu over a long plaid skirt. There is a large ring on her left hand.
