Description: Shows a Maori whare with slab chimney and raupo roof. Figures are seated in on the flat land the left foreground, and there is a view of Lyttelton harbour behind. The hut is surrounded by trees including a cabbage tree. One of a set of five lithographs that could possibly be after Janetta Maria Cookson originals, or could be after an original by Thomas Selby Cousins. The lithograph must have been produced before 1867, the year of Janetta Cookson's death..
