Most of the rest of the images record the construction of the National Library building, people and occassions connected with this, the building's interiors, and services provided. Description: Cartoon illustration to a magazine article "Five go mad in Auckland", shows an Auckland street lined with tall buildings, with a caricature of Winston Peters in the left foreground smoking. Behind his head is a sign for a coffee shop, and another for a shop offering 1-hour photographic processing. On a balcony of a highrise building at the right, a policeman restrains a man who has dropped an object down to the street. Further along the street is a yellow bus with destination "K Rd" (Karangahape Road). At centre right is the Auckland Town Hall with its clock tower and columns.
