Description: Photographs relating to the 2010 and 2011 Canterbury earthquakes taken by BeckerFraserPhotos on 30 May 2011. The majority of these were taken in the CBD (central business district) within the red zone area which was cordoned off after 22 February 2011 earthquake. Several photographs were taken in the suburb of Papanui. Approximately 100 photographs focus on closer details of the damage to buildings and streets, cracks in masonry and pavements, rubble, broken windows, debris, scaffolding, shop window mannequins, signs.
