Description: The manuscript map is glued to a unidentified fragment of a published map of Lyall Bay, Wellington, which shows sections bounded by Onepu Road, Lyall Parade and Apu Crescent. The manuscript map is a cadastral, surveyed map of Sections 1 - 13, Lyall Parade, and marks Onepu Road, Apu Cres and Lyall Bay. Names of owners on the sections are: Elizabeth Wilson, Richard Stanford, Maranui Lifesaving Club, Fred'k Chas Ventry, Everest St Khandallah; F E Crowther, Jas Stellin, Albert F Livermore, J H Ryder C/- H Firth Petone; Claude H Perrett, Manners St; Adam P Whitehead, Cuba St; Mrs F Hollings. The printed map is a fragment of a real estate lithograph (coloured) and includes the subdivision of highlighted sections 1 - 76, bounded by Onepu Road, Apu Crescent and Lyall Parade, Lyall Bay. The sections are surveyed and most show acreage. Marks a drainage reserve, Lyall Bay and Lyall Bay Tram Terminus. Sections along Lyall Parade are not highlighted or numbered; four are marked sold, some include names of owners in ink: Crowther, Stellin, Livermore, Horn, Bell, Rob, Perr, Price, Hullen, Stanford. The manuscript map has been pasted over the locality plan of the lithograph, to the left of the fragment, and both maps have then been encapsulated in transparent paper.
