Description: Shows a scene in Hagley Park, adjacent to the Botanical Gardens, Christchurch, and probably near the Hospital. In the left foreground is an area of daffodils, and just beyond them two women stand looking at them. The Avon River is at the right, and the trees of the Botanical Gardens are at the far right across the river. Inscriptions: Recto - beneath image - [Title] In 1926-32, Fitzgerald was an artist and art teacher in Christchurch. The work may have been made at that time. Quantity: 1 colour art print(s).
