Description: Cadastral map of sections 1-40, bounded by South Road, Vivian and Donald Street, Masterton. Includes acreage and some survey information. 'Dr Beard's Estate South Road' has been written on the map in blue pencil. Several blocks (41-43) and sections (21-36) are also marked in blue pencil, indicating his land to be subdivided. Description: Cadastral map with topographic markings, showing the Lowry Bay Estate of over 54 acres on the coast at Lowry Bay proper. Paddocks in the Waiwhetu Flat (Seaview) are also shown. The Lowry Bay District is outlined, with link measurements (bounded by the Waiwhetu District and the Harbour District). Two sections bordering Lowry Bay District are shown - 19 (owned by G Grey) and 18 (owned by D Dick). Note on catalogue card: Compiled at time of dispute over wharf at Lowry Bay, 1877-1887. See accompanying copy of correspondence from file relating to Lowry Bay (regarding McIntyre of Lowry Bay Estate requesting permission to construct two jettys, the Wellington Harbour Board and the Marine Department). Description: The annotations are drawn on a cadastral, surveyed map showing the East Burnham Estate subdivision on sections on Princes Street (Hobart), York (Chelsea) Street, and Main Road (Ira Street), Miramar, Wellington. The sections are numbered 1-51, and show acreage. The tram route is shown, as well as route to Worser Bay, the wharf, Seatoun, and terms of sale. The pencil annotations show section prices, the names of new owners including: J D Avery, Bank Chambers; Mrs Brydon, Venables, Wilson, Wood, Townsend. Calculations and notes on terms are added. Glued to the top left hand corner of the map is a newspaper cutting about the auctioning of the sections, by East and East at the Wellington Chamber of Commerce. The clipping records the auction bidding and lists the selling price of each section. Base map: 'Miramar East Burnham Estate' by H P Hanify (Wellington :[East & East], [1906]). Sections are numbered, almost half are highlighted in pink, and some are marked 'sold'. Description: Cadastral map showing Jones' Estate situated beside the township of Eketahuna at lot 14. Lot 13 (between Haswell and Alfredton Road) and lot 15 are also indicated. The township itself is laid out, naming streets including Haswell, Alfredton, Anderson, Jones, Bright, Bengston, Queen and Main Street. Unsold sections are coloured pink and state the section number, acreage and selling price while sold sections are marked 'sold' in black. Site use is stated where known: five hotels, a farmer's club, an Anglican, Wesleyan and Presbyterian church, Masonic lodge, A.O.F Lodge room, public hall, police, court, school, general post office and library are identified. Description: A cadastral base map, part of the Lower Hutt Borough, includes the boundary between it and Lower Hutt County, and showing the location of the Gracefield Estate, with Park, Gracefield and Wainuiomata Roads. Sections include acreages, deed plan numbers also numbers relating to Hutt and Harbour Regional Districts. Added topographic detail in the form of contours has been added between the Gracefield Estate and the Wainuiomata Hill Road. Four proposed roads leading to tunnels which are referred to in a key, converge on an adjacent peak of 385 feet, when the grade commences. The second map is a cadastral map of Gracefield Estate published by the auctioneers Messrs H. Ernest Leighton Ltd., offered for sale on 9th April 1927 at the site. A note about terms of payment, lot numbers and details of the Eastbourne bus to catch to the Park Road stop are included. Some sections are stamped as sold.
