Description: Twenty letters to his family written from Cambridge, Palmerston North, Wanganui, and some from Dalethorpe Station, Kowai Pass, Canterbury. Details of domestic and farm life; also comments on relationships with Maori and on arrival of Te Kooti in the Waikato. Letter 18 Dec 1901 comments very unfavourably on quality of relationship between England and New Zealand. Includes letter from the `NZ Herald' (4 Aug 1871) from John Munro, Whangarei, to William Buckland, MHR on the decrepid state of NZ. Quantity: 1 folder(s) (115 leaves). 0.01 Linear Metres.
